     Thank you for visiting Rory's Lead.  Helping to support local animal shelters with every purchase.

Our Story

      Everything changed for me in 2020 when I decided to bring a new friend into my life.  After visiting multiple animal shelters, just before the shelter was closing, the staff brought in one more dog for me to visit with.  In comes what I thought was a shy dog who just wanted to leave the room right away, but I could not have been more wrong.  After only about 15 seconds, this puppy was laying on his back between my legs staring up at me just waiting for belly rubs.  I knew in that moment this was the was a perfect match.  This was when I knew Rory had found his forever home.

      

     Once Rory came home with me, it filled the missing piece I had been looking for.  Nothing would ever be the same again.  But helping one dog find his perfect family fit was just the beginning.  From then on, I wanted to help every animal in all of the shelters near me find their forever home.  While I was not able to help out every animal, I began the search for helping however I could.  Whether it was through donations to shelters to help them provide the best care they could to as many animals as possible, to helping those looking for a new family member give the animals a shelter a chance, I wanted to do more.

     After three years with Rory, a career change and a move to a new state, I decided to start Rory's Lead to start making leashes and collars.  By making durable, strong, easy to clean products, for every item sold, one leash or collar will be donated to local shelters.  Whether the products are able to help animals stand out more, or are able to help provide extra proceeds to shelters, our goal is to not only provide a high quality product to our customers, but help all animals looking for their forever home.
